About LCLS
Board of Trustees
LCLS is governed by a community Board of Trustees who set policy, approve budgets, and represent the public interest in library service across Lackawanna County.
Governance
The Board sets policy, approves the annual operating budget, and oversees long-term planning for the Lackawanna County Library System’s nine member libraries and the Bookmobile. Trustees represent the communities the system serves across Lackawanna County.
Day-to-day operations of the system are led by Executive Director Sandy Longo and the staff of the member libraries. The Executive Director reports to the Board and is the primary liaison between staff and governance.
Meeting schedule
The Board meets approximately every two months. Meetings are open to the public; the agenda and minutes are posted under Policies & Governance once approved.
Patrons wishing to address the Board are asked to contact the Executive Director at info@albright.org at least seven days before the next scheduled meeting.
Board roster + minutes
The full current Board roster, approved meeting minutes, and bylaws will be published here in structured form with the production site launch. Until then, requests for specific minutes can be sent to info@albright.org.
