A library card is free — and it unlocks everything.
If you live, work, or attend school in Pennsylvania, you qualify for a free LCLS library card. Apply online or visit any member library.
What you'll need
- Proof of identity (driver's license, passport, or other photo ID)
- Proof of address (utility bill, lease, or government letter)
- An email address (for notifications about holds and due dates)
Visitors who don't have a permanent Pennsylvania address can also get a temporary card. Ask staff for details.
